Registry value could be divided into 2 parts:
-
first that is composed of four first numbers is disk number that is stored into
MBR.
-
second that is composed of height last numbers is offset of begin of partition
on disk in bytes.
Numbers are in hexadecimal notation and should be read from right to left. For
this example they are:
-
old value: disk number: 0x3aa33aa2, beginning of partition: 0x000000025233f600
(so 9969071616 bytes or 19470843 sectors).
-
new value: disk number: 0xafc4afc4, beginning of partition: 0x0000000000007e00
(so 32256 bytes or 63 sectors).
